Directors

Phil Meyer-Smith

B.E. (Civil)

Phil is an Engineer with 29 yrs experience, which 23 yrs has been specialising in Cold Storage, Food Processing Facilities, and Breweries. With a background in Structural Design and Construction Management, Phil has been the Design and Project Engineer on developments throughout New Zealand, Russia, America Samoa, and Malaysia specialising in the Cold Storage and Food Processing Industry.

Brett Burridge

B.E (Civil) Hons, MIPENZ, CPEng, IntPE, MIPES

Brett is an Engineer with 27 yrs experience, with 13 years with Peter Swan Ltd. Brett is a very skilled Structural Design Engineer, having worked on a wide range of Projects in New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and the United Kingdom. He has worked for both consultants and contractors giving a very practical understanding of Structural Design and Project delivery.

Aaron Trembath

B. Arch, ANZIA

Aaron is a highly experienced NZ registered Architect with 23 yrs post registration experience, this includes 5 years oversea experience in Europe and the United Arab Emirates. Aaron has a wide range of experience covering the education, commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, retail and health sectors. Aaron is a trained Green Star Professional and is a Qualifies Weathertightness Assessor.

Cliff Wong

NZCD (Arch)

Cliff has been involved with CAD Management for the past 25 yrs, of which 17 yrs has been with Peter Swan Ltd on specialist food industry work plus Commercial and residential projects. Cliff is very experienced in setting up and running CAD and now BIM systems to optimise the performance of each project.

Peter Swan

B.E, MICE, MIPENZ

Peter is an Engineer who now works as a consultant and has been in the practice for 35 years. For the last 25 years he has specialised in the field of industrial building design and process systems for the food industry and allied business. Peter understands business leadership in markets and industries subject to the rigour and demand of intensive competition. Peters inherent design philosophy is of innovation, economy and flair.

Gordon Lindsay

B.E (hons), NZCE, Dip Bus Admin, MIPENZ, MIEPNG

Gordon is an Engineer with 37 yrs. experience. He has had a total of 20 yrs dedicated to the Meat Industry, before applying his project management skills and knowledge within the total New Zealand Food Industry. Gordon has extensive knowledge of the project procurement, delivery and construction technical detailing. His project management and project delivery skills are respected throughout the food and meat industry.

Paul McHardy

B.E (Civil, MIPENZ, CPEng)

Paul is a Senior Structural Engineer with 37 yrs experience, mainly in specialist cold storage and food processing consulting. Projects include process plants and cold storage for: fish processing, live crawfish exports, meat packaging, deer velvet and by-products, kiwifruit, diary products, breweries, perishables airfreighting complexes and blast freezers.

Len O’Connor

RCA (SA)

Len is a Senior Building Services Engineer, with 40 yrs experience of which 33 yrs has been in the Food Industry, 10 yrs at Peter Swan Ltd.

Len is a very practical engineer providing innovative, functional and economic service designs for our clients in the Specialist Food Industry.
